Our Why

When our founder, Jeff, was a child, his older brother was diagnosed with a rare condition that left him unable to communicate verbally and eventually led to the loss of his eyesight. Life was challenging for the Olenych family, but this difficulty also taught them patience, understanding, and gratitude. For Jeff personally, his brother’s situation gave him an appreciation for his own ability to help others.

Our firm was founded on the belief that we work for something greater than ourselves, and that’s why we love what we do. By helping families prepare for the unknown, we bring a little bit of peace back to their lives. We strive to make a difference however we can, whether by educating people, volunteering our time, or sharing our resources. 

We’re not just here to analyze numbers–we’re here for you. So whenever you need to talk to us, we’re ready to listen and guide you to a solution. Our Process

Everything we do is based around education, communication, and relationships. We believe that a client that is educated feels more confident in the direction of their financial life. Those clients are more likely to make smart decisions and stay on track towards their goals. We also believe constant communication is key to developing and maintaining a strong relationship. Our goal is to help clients build holistic strategies.

1. Relationship & Review

Our first meeting is always about getting to know you as a potential client. Not only do we want to learn about your financial circumstances, but we want to understand who you are as a person, what you enjoy, and where you want to go in life. By getting to know each other better, we’ll each gain a better understanding of whether we’re a good fit for each other. In this meeting, we’ll spend time learning about your background, explaining our experience, and reviewing the following points:

  1. Any previous financial professional relationships
  2. What is important to you in a professional relationship
  3. The process by which we help clients
  4. Your goals and vision for your financial future

2. Analyze & Assess

Once we know each other better on a personal level, we’ll begin reviewing the details of your financial world. We start by looking at the numbers that support and facilitate your life, like your current financial statements; then we’ll review everything comprehensively to determine where you have room for improvement and what potential risks we can help you avoid. This assessment will be our baseline for developing a strategy. Some of our discussion points will be:

  1. Financial statement review
  2. Current income protection status
  3. Improvement opportunities
  4. Goal setting specifics

3. Develop & Direct

Based on our previous conversations, we’ll put together a specific strategy that will act as a roadmap to your goals. Your financial strategy will include recommendations to mitigate risk, help you grow your assets, and seek to optimize your opportunities along the way. As we create your roadmap, we’ll collaborate with you so you understand each recommendation we outline for your financial strategy. We’ll answer any questions you have, walk you through the details, and make sure that your roadmap helps point you in the direction of your goals and values.

4. Coordinate & Implement

Once you’re satisfied with the strategy we create, we’ll work with you to implement each element of it. We offer products and services designed to optimize your financial world, and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to carry out an effective, comprehensive financial strategy. We know our clients need a go-to contact on their financial journey, but we also realize we aren’t the only piece of the puzzle. That’s why we take time to coordinate with your tax and legal professionals and make sure everyone in your corner is working in unison toward your goals.

5. Expand & Adapt

As your life and the economy change, your financial strategies will need to adjust accordingly. We believe it’s important to maintain informal communication with our clients in addition to scheduling formal review meetings so we can stay abreast of important changes in your life. As you grow and your financial needs expand or alter, our team will be monitoring your progress to help ensure your finances are always protected and optimized for growth.
